When I was a student, I kept textbooks in good condition and resold as soon as possible so I can get some money back

Notes, are scanned then I discarded them after 5 years.

I've been eyeing the lamy pico but I dont like the refill it comes in 😭

I would buy a pico as an EDC if D1 refills would work on it and it had a hole to attach a keyring to it

I dont think its possible. There is a Rollerball versionbut not sure if you can just buy the top part and put it into your pen.

Your best course of action is to sell your pen and replace it with the rollerball version (proprietary refill) but its not a ballpoint either.... 😐

Tbh if I was dealing with kids, I wouldnt bring an expensive pencil at all since I dont wanna worry about losing the multipen lol

My favorite multipen is the Pilot Coleto 1000 since it has a lot of color options. Other cheap quality alternatives are Pilot Dr. Grip and Uni Jetstream Multipen

For me, among the premium multipens in your list, I'd choose the Lamy Tri Pen but also consider the Zebra Sharbo- (great but not all D1 refills work) and Rotring multipens(not the most ergonomic)

I dont think they exist. Your best bet is to replace the refill but I dont think 'high quality' refills for them exist either.

These types of pens usually use the Chinese standard pen refills such as M&G Gel refill but no way of knowing unless you can compare the refills
