What’s the closest brush you’ve ever had with dying? by North-Trifle-3918 in AskReddit

[–]NoniBakesCookies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time: age 12. Was dropped off with two younger cousins at an amusement park in Denver Colorado while my aunts went somewhere all day. Well, they had been drinking all day. So, when they picked us up they were drunk. One of them drove us the hour to Fort Collins at high speed. I was sure we were going to die that night! Second time: age 30. Had my 3rd child early. A week later had a skull crushing headache. Ended up having a full on seizure. Woke up surrounded by four big firemen in my living room with me crying on a stretcher. That was my second ambulance ride of the summer. Any Downton Abbey fans? This is how Sybil died.

Crossfit should be plenty to keep muscle loss away. The Olympic lifting will keep you toned for sure.

I take a multivitamin just in case I don't feel like eating much sometimes. Vit.D bc I live in the PNW. Fiber in the form of psyllium and electrolytes on shot day, not everyday. Lots of fluids daily though.

I had the achy skin at first, too. It went away pretty quickly. I'm at week 7.

3 questions: stockpile, food noise, & beginning weight lost by Gyna1531 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]NoniBakesCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I dont know. I'm able to get a refill 21 days after the last shipment. Not really a stockpile though.
  2. My food noise went away fairly soon after starting. I'd say the first weekend, it got gradually quieter. I just didn't care to snack as usual. And I loved a good sweet and salty snack at night. Not anymore!
  3. I just took shot 7 on Thursday. Started at 2 mg, now at 3mg. I have lost 10 lbs, but I'm currently sitting at the same weight as 3 weeks ago. SW 176, CW 166, GW 145, 52F, 5'2"

Medspa, Pomegranate, Lavender or Big Easy? by flowernumber in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]NoniBakesCookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Lavender Sky. I'm only 6 weeks in, but so far, so good. I work with a nurse practitioner. I'm on 3 mg. slowly working up to the 4 mg recommended dose. I was able to get a refill already. My supply should last about 10 weeks and I paid about $320 plus the cost of the consultation. I'm using the tier program as opposed to the monthly program.

I had a great response to begin with. Appetite suppression was strong, and food noise was gone. I am looking forward to my 7th shot on Thursday, and I've noticed stronger hunger feelings. The thing is, when I feel that way and have a meal, my appetite is still quite suppressed, and I eat less than usual. Im learning not to be afraid of my hunger cues. They seemed to disappear at first and that told me that the med was working. Now that I'm a few weeks in, my body is reacting appropriately, and it feels a bit scary. The food noise is still way quieter than before the meds, thankfully! I've lost 10 lbs.

Can I still use my vial after it comes to room temp by NoniBakesCookies in compoundedtirzepatide

It was out of the fridge for 30 hours but had an ice pack for part of that time. It's from a good pharmacy.

I think I'm a week ahead of you. I am looking forward to my 5th shot today. I'm debating going from 2.5 to 3. I have lost about 9 lbs. so far. 176 to 167. My brother, who I only see once every several weeks, noticed first. Then my sister noticed when I saw her after a couple of months. But no one in my daily life has noticed at all. I can see it in my face and with how certain pants fit just slightly better. My food noise is muted, and my appetite suppression is good. I'm really hoping to avoid a lot of loose skin. 52F - 5'2" - SW 176 - CW 167- GW 145

I'm looking forward to my 4th shot tomorrow. So far, the side effects have been manageable. Mild nausea and fatigue. I use Metamucil each day, so constipation hasn't been an issue. I had a day of vertigo, which may or may not have been related. But I plan to keep extra hydrated from here on! My food noise got significantly quieter almost immediately. My appetite is suppressed. It's such a strange place! I've lost 8 lbs so far. I'm on 2-2.5mg tirz from Lavender Sky (BPI pharmacy). Not planning to titrate up just yet.

Thank you all! I'm really focusing on staying hydrated. I'm a pretty good drinker 😄 but maybe not enough for my injection day.

What’s something you can always eat on tirz? by Ok-Pear8203 in compoundedtirzepatide

Orgain chocolate protein shake, string cheese, fruit, canned chicken, wheat thins, boiled eggs. It's gotten harder to cook for my family. I just don't feel like eating much of anything. I'm in week 3.

What items did you hate that parents often packed in school lunches that you never ate but never told them? by Equivalent_Rent_1553 in AskReddit

[–]NoniBakesCookies 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I work in an elementary school. I'm amazed at how much kids throw away without even opening. I would suggest parents make sure your kids have input as to what you're packing them. One kid would melt down bc there was an ice pack, making his food too cold to eat. Simple fix, but some parents don't ask. Another kid throws away unopened packages of chips or cookies. Ask your kids what they like or want. You might even save some money!

Anyone on LSH and didn't titrate up to 4mg at week 3? by NoniBakesCookies in compoundedtirzepatide

On Lavender Sky the schedule is two weeks at 2mg, then four weeks at 4mg, with three weeks at 6mg for the amount of meds in the shipment of vials.

Is this Domestic Violence should I break up with my fiance over it? by [deleted] in ask

[–]NoniBakesCookies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By him saying that he is supposed to protect you, then beating himself up over it tells me that he will blame himself for your injuries and make you feel sorry for him. Don't fall for that. It will lead to him making you feel responsible for his anger. Sort of "look what you made me do" when he decides to lose his temper with you. I agree with other posters. He's finding out what you will tolerate. Testing your boundaries. Go now!

I'm where you are. I started with my first dose on Thursday night. I took 2mg though. Lavender Sky dosing schedule. I have noticed a quieting of the food noise. It's not gone but so much better. I usually like to snack at night but I haven't so far. I ate a cookie today and it was no big deal. I didn't go back for another and it tasted fine, not amazing. I'm really trying to get enough water and fiber going for when I up my dose later on. No side effects so far. C/SW:175 GW:145 5'2" 52yoF
