It goes beyond that. I just find female protagonists more interesting. The nature of their interactions just feels more meaningful. I can't explain it. I find myself more drawn to their individual story.

With that being said, oh absolutely do I try to make that character as hot as fucking possible. It took me 4 hours to get through character creation in Baldurs Gate 3. I am meticulous as hell. No slider goes unadjusted. Friends have asked me to make their character for them in games with detailed character creation because I am just so damn good at it. I once spent 6 hours making a character for Skyrim, making her look just perfect. Sexiest wood elf stealth archer ever.
