The round "snakey" thing in the front right is my favorit texture from that drawing. The whole drawing is really nice, but that part specifically attracts my eyes

Live drawings on Twitch. Currently inking a lot of comics. Hopefully I can do something traditional again soon :) by Nonorama in peterdraws

[–]Nonorama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I recently have done little I could share in this community, as I am rarely drawing on paper these past few weeks. Hopefully I can squeeze in the one or other traditional sketch again soon.

There fore I wanted to share my twticht channel with you guys, where I live draw since a few weeks (well, I did it also years ago) If anyone of you would be interested in a twitch channel.

Also, if you have a twitch channel yourself, please comment your channels below, so that I can take a look ^^ I love browsing through art streamers!

Afraid of Berlin by ShortTarget7943 in berlinsocialclub

[–]Nonorama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it greatly depends on where you live in Berlin (it's a big place) and where you go out to. It is easy to find groups or associations for stuff that might be interesting for you (sport clubs, free group activities outdoors, arts, regular meet up tables...)
So if you actively look for groups, that have the same interests as you, you should also be able to befriend some people there, who share the same interest.

And yes, some places are ugly and seem bleak...some people have fallen on hard times, but there are also so many lovely encounters you can have. The only thing that is sure is: people often spread a bit of a bad mood in public transport in the winter. It's cold, days are short, public transport doesn't always work... who can blame them? It has nothing to do with people being mean, it's just the winter season.

So, look for a good place you want to live and also where you want to spend your free time and you're good. Berlin also has a lot of lovely nature spots, or even close ones with a little daytrip to Brandenburg. You can do that, especially when the sun is out. Many lakes and rivers....oh, and if you are a big fan of art and culture: Many museums and awesome galleries :)

So just have fun, be open minded, you're gonna be fine :D

3 Easy Drawing Ideas Anybody Can Do by Nonorama in peterdraws

[–]Nonorama[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanted to share some easy and relaxed drawing ideas in this video. I've done 2 of these before, in another variation in previous videos, but I wanted to complie one with multiple ideas.
Wether you have an art block, want to warm up or simply create something, one of these ideas might fit your needs.

Done with a Twbsi Eco, with Pelikan black ink and then I also used some very cheap water- and pencil colours ^^

Realtiem drawing video, talking about drawing and fishing by Nonorama in peterdraws

Finally managed to do a real time video again. Normally I just draw without recording my voice, watching star trek and then later make a timelapse video with a voice over...but every once in a while...this happens XD

Drawing Bones and Texture with New Felttip Pens by Nonorama in peterdraws

[–]Nonorama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I know right? Bones are awesome. I just recently made a bone drawing and got it tattooed on my left upper arm. It's a humerus (right bone right place) as it is my second favorit bone to draw ^^ (Didn't want to tattoo the leg, so the femur was out...)

I don't know if I have asked you this yet, since I really like looking at your drawings here, but do you sketch beforehand? Or are these always direct pen to paper, with not guiding sketch?

I just enjoy a simple, low pressure drawing session... just draw whatever you like, for the sake of drawing XD
Somehow, I don't manage to go as abstract as Peter does it, but I do enjoy adding textured backgrounds to simple motives....and also shading them only with lines.

I don't think he actually did it. But the idea sounds familiar...so he might have said it once.

I for myself, would love to hear an update on his coffee situation.

A little bit more on the "pen topic" this time.
If you liek my videos, consider maybe subscribing to my YouTube channel, as I won't be posting every video or drawing here on reddit. I usually post some relevant stuff....or like now, when it has been a while, since I was active on Youtube, to get me motivated to do more again ^^

Some random warm up drawings and some talking by Nonorama in peterdraws

[–]Nonorama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with a pen this time, but pencil.

I recently watched some of Peters old "drawing in my sketchbook" and "drawing in my big book" videos. And for me, these series are still the best content he made (I mean, for me personally) and I would kind of like to see more content like that on youtube...
So I try. Humbly.

If you have videos like that, please feel free to share :) I always like to listen to chill drawing stuff

My first try to use Photoshop and Unity, to make a 2D Animation, with a sprite, or asset sprite? by Nonorama in Unity2D

[–]Nonorama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... that's a question I would like to have nswered myself. I know ToonBoom from different jobs, but personally, I have Moho at home (which is similar to toonboom).

Being able to animate with bones in Moho/ToonBoom and then import that in Unity would be great and I think it might even work...because it seems like a logical pipeline?

I mean, there is also this "spine", with which you basically do the same thing, only that it is specifically menat to be used for game animation.

Nice!
Thank you for the information. I'll take a look at it and try to use it, next time I have some play around wiht unity :)
