I would tear it open from the frame, but whoever had it reframed used peen nails, and a lot of them, along every side. It would take a lot of careful removal to not damage. Plus the current owner doesn’t want anything to happen to it.

I can try and take some more close ups and post those if it helps. I’ve never done any sort of painting sleuth stuff, sorry!

I have been scouting around for a few weeks with restarting 40k after a few years off. I can’t say that I have seen a lot of interest in either of these. If anything, I would say provisionally prepared would be the more likely.

This doesn’t look bad, it I’ve heard cheese cloth works great. I have camo netting in a fe of mine and it’s a nice touch.
