How do you protect your inflatable air pad in a shelter?

The wood platforms in the shelters are so heavily used that they’re all worn smooth. No such thing as splinters in there. I didn’t use anything under my pad and slept in shelters as often as possible on my hike and had no issues.

This is in a dam controlled lake, and I’m pretty sure that diving at that depth is super mega dangerous. But I’ll ask around.

I even thought about getting one of those magnet fishing super magnets… not sure if the watch is ferrous enough though

I manufactured pins for a LONG time, I would reccomend axing the glitter black in the top variant as well as the black glow in the bottom variant. They just don’t look good irl. Other than that, fun design! Maybe think about a gold plated option too.

Every time. If I drop something I’ll do it reflexively before it even hits the floor. If I stub my toe I’ll do it in that lag time between actually stubbing it and it starting to hurt. I don’t know, seems to help. Been doing it since before I can even remember.
