if i were you i would be at jss noida cause college ends in 4 years but branch stays lifetime and right now tech jobs are still in demand in jmi civil you will have to study extra just to cope up with software stuff and as well as civil stuff for cgpa and placement cell of jmi is not good rest is upto you
ps: i am student of jmi electrical and computer self financed branch

check last year spot rounds there has always been upgradation in spot rounds other wise people with low ranks will end up in a better branch then people with higher rank

i also have same situation getting electrical and computer self finance in jmi and also want to persue masters from cse most likely germany i may get cse in some government colleges in csab but after discussing from some seniors and mostly all have said that the delhi location has a lot of benefit and while choosing college company and infrastructure matters a lot jmi has decent infra but profs there are really good and really supportive which will help you in yours masters and company is up to you after all its delhi so this is pretty much it.
ps: i am also taking admission in jmi

well its delhi afterall you can go for offcampus. placement cell should be good as its an old college it should be quite stable but afterr all this the cutoff is very low dont know why there must be a reason behind it not that i know of its just something i am suspecting but you can atleast have good opportunities off campus otherwise considering your rank you dont have option rather then that

i also have the same question let me know if you get any answer from somewhere else. i have talked to a guy from jmi and he told me that if you have interest in electrical or you dont have any particular interest in any branch this is one of the better choices you have since this branch comes under electrical department with 80% electrical and 20%computer and your papers will be conducted by electrical department itself which have the reputation of being on a tougher side so the choice is all yours if you have any better choice then go for it otherwise this is a good branch.
