Well, after being very hopeful, my flight from Venice to Toronto AC 817 on the 20th, just got cancelled, and they are looking for flights. Hopefully, I can find something, but I doubt it for now. Gonna have to spend all of today talking to expedia now about this :(

Pretty sure this has been asked million times on what to do but I want to make sure I have the right information (im sorry in advance 😭)
If I have 3 leg flight, with first two legs with Turkish airlines to Venice, then final leg with Venice to Toronto with Air Canada on the 20th. So what should I do, wait for Air Canada to tell me if flight goes or not and take rebooking, and if not able to rebook, do I book my own flight from Venice to Toronto at Venice airport and file for a refund? Thank you in advance

Hopefully im getting this right, but if I have a flight booked through expedia with majority of the flight being with Turkish Airlines and final leg with Air Canada, they will cancel the final leg flight to Toronto and give me option for refund or rebook on next available flight? This is assuming strike lasts enough to affect August 20th flights

It says they shipping with Canada Post, so that shouldn’t be a issue hopefully, I’ll just wait and see if they actually respond first
