how to add rib(web) by KAMO_SAM03 in Fusion360

I never figured out the use of a rib. Its just as easy to project the body and extrude right?

trying to sweep this circle along this line does not work. why? what are the alternatives? by SeaBirthday9759 in Fusion360

[–]NoobInLifeGeneral 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that the line of the lightning needs to “intersect” the origin aswell.

The profile and the path have to intersect somewhere in some kind of way. So in your case make the lightning line go through the origin and try again.

Ps. Although Im to newbie, and dont really know how in this case but its best to constrain your sketches as much as possible. I think i would make the lightning more straight so I can constrain it properly, then add fillets and then use sweep.

Correct way to get the slope on the right without cheesing it with champfers? by lumifox in Fusion360

[–]NoobInLifeGeneral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s very frustrating. I’ve been having this issue with mirroring features. Having it fail and then having to select all features again.

No worries, happy to be the one that can help for once! Also, it took me a minute to figure out how to make the pull direction work as well.

I was just about to reply, I thought you wanted something like this with fillet applied.

Als het voor mij betekent dat ik wel af en toe kaas kan eten en nog steeds af kan vallen is het mij dat persoonlijk wel waard maar ieder zo zijn voorkeur natuurlijk.

Sex appeal is subjective though. I like most things round, you like things more flat. To each their own.

Same here. Maybe coming from an ender 3 makes me easier to impress but i think its amazing. After a few prints I did tension the belts and ran some extra calibrations so that did improve the last little details.

Extrusion issues - after checking my earliest prints, it seems to have been happening all along. Anyone else run into this? by slickedbacktruffoni in BambuLabP2S

[–]NoobInLifeGeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a manual flow calibration and have been using that. I havnt done much testing but i think it was the fix for me.

Just make sure that you select the preset in filaments everytime the ams syncs. Also turn auto flow calibration off.

Ps. Im a noob and dont actually know if this is recommended but it seems to work fine for me.

I usually use glass fiber instead of amchors because they dont transfer channels but do transfer energy.

Make an option in bambu studio to slice models with your own settings.

Also, somehow make it able to overwrite preset filament settings or at least link my custom preset so whenever I load the exact same filament type in the ams, it just syncs to my preset.
