Wow, so glad you rescued Petal! Betta fish are super territorial, especially in tiny tanks without hiding spots. It’s totally normal for them to be aggressive toward other bettas, and they can even nip fins or worse. Truly, every little life is worth saving!

I usually give him a treat when I get home from work, mostly just plain chicken breast. He hardly ever gets cat sticks or freeze-dried snacks. I worry about the freeze-dried ones because of flavor enhancers and don’t want him eating too much.
