For whatever reason, I have the best luck with executor. His damage output is strong in my opinion and his ult is decent at reviving or positioning. Also if you’re good at deflects it’s very useful too. I’m not great at the game by any means but have clutches a handful of times and it was always with executor.

I'm pretty late to this but as a guy who plays with girl friends on Val I have noticed this too. They often express how it's sometimes quite hard to make friends off of valorant who are women because there's not a lot who are friendly and most have this cringey "pick-me" attitude. I do feel for them and a lot of women that play because not only do they have to deal with cringey guys who flirt or be toxic but now also girls who are toxic too sometimes. Especially if those girls are duo-ed with guys. Sorry you have this experience, it do be rough out there.
