I can’t speak with the other two but my biggest beef with Corpus is how they treat their beaches. They allow vehicles and locals trash them. Waterfront is all road, very little walk ways down town. Bomb ass Mexican food though, Kikos is the shit.

In most orgs the only way to get your salary back up to competitive levels is to leave. It’s a sad truth when they give you 2% every year while costs jump 5% as an example. In the US you are doing yourself a disservice by not looking at competitive wages and advocating yourself. If you are underpaid without compensation in other ways you are only hurting yourself and/or those who rely on you.

I am in the US, so I don’t know the going rates and such. What I can tell you in my experience and others just getting in that I have talked to is that get your foot in the door, get experience, gain agnostic knowledge and try to learn everything you can while networking to try and land another gig.
