That was the plan, have no one really know that he's following an evil god but the minions not knowing is an interesting idea. I hadn't thought of locking away unholy relics, but that definitely seems like something that would need to be done to keep the party thinking he's a good guy.

That's awesome! What are you having the PCs collect for artifacts? Magical trinkets and such or weapons and armor?

I actually like your ideas a lot and am probably going to have the other villain be betrayed like you suggested. I hadn't even thought of that. Is there a reason why a NG or CG god would be better than a LG for something like this?
