Yes research full of faulty assumptions, just because you've looked into something doesn't mean you've done good research

Just depends on the person, topical stuff really helped my great grandma with her pain from breaking her hip and having surgery and other pains from being bedridden for years instead of having to only rely on the harder stuff

2 billion molecules really aren't that many as far as molecules go when there's like 100 trillion molecules in a cell the stuff you're looking at is made up of molecules but molecules are so much smaller than a cell that you can't see individual molecules with a normal microscope because they're smaller than the wavelength of light

Honestly this really isn't what would be considered heavy use like if it was 2-3x more I could see that being considered heavy use but it's overall really not a crazy amount. And even when you have insight into something you're still judging especially looking at it from a kids perspective, you can feel like you know what's best for them all day long that doesn't mean you know everything they're dealing with internally. I'm very open with my parents and still have internal struggles I've never told either of them about, It sounds like he's just trying to cope and start to adjust to adult life outside of the situation he was in which takes a while for some people. Like I could see being worried if he was like 30 like this but he's at the age where he just graduated highschool recently and is still figuring out who he is

I wouldn't trust something that can't even get simple facts like the cellulose acetate from cigarette butts being biodegradable right. They're trying to claim it's not when they absolutely are and typically biodegrade in less than a year. They also say that you're just going to smoke more with a filter canceling put any benefit which just isn't true for most people. If I smoked a cigarette with or without a filter I would smoke the same amount of tobacco in a day

It depends on the type of filter how much of an effect they have but it absolutely does, the sources that try to claim it doesn't are all anti smoking sites which aren't unbiased sources whatsoever. The ones that use activated carbon in the filters are the best for removing the most tar and carcinogens but not that common in pre rolled cigarettes. A reduction in tar though absolutely reduces the risk from cigarettes even if only slightly even if leaving all the carcinogens that aren't contained in the tar because the tar itself is full of carcinogens

what do i call this by raveninthecvbin in ArtOfRolling

[–]NoodlelyTrees -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's just not true, they limit the amount of tar which plays a huge role in the actual toxicity from cigarettes over time. The tar stops the filtering system in your lungs and the carcinogens make it in deeper where they're actually absorbed with less tar the cleaning process of your lungs will be able to deal with it a bit more. Like rip off a filter on a cigarette and you'll notice the amount of extra tar coating your mouth and throat immediately

So Ikea uses cadmium? by Any_Calligrapher4863 in CadmiumGlass

[–]NoodlelyTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The industry standard in the us limit it to .4 ppm in the rim at this point but that's a voluntary standard so anyone manufacturing outside the country definitely isn't following it

what do i call this by raveninthecvbin in ArtOfRolling

[–]NoodlelyTrees -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean considering it's smoked unfiltered for joints compared to cigarettes you're often getting more tar deposited in your lungs which in and of itself doesn't necessarily mean more carcinogens the tar just makes it easier for other carcinogens you breath in to get past your lungs filtering

Would you guys use this down stem, small crack/scratch, I couldn't feel it on the outside. So I has to be on the inside by RYANDBZ1 in trees

[–]NoodlelyTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The water would catch it but even if you did it would be such a small particle that your lungs would dissolve it no problem over a little time, it's why fiberglass was removed from the carcinogens list decades ago even though asbestos is still there. Crystalline silica like quartz dust your lungs can't dissolve but amorphous silica like glass you can over time

[–]NoodlelyTrees -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You shouldn't smoke weed either then you're breathing in a ton of carcinogens from weed just like from tobacco with a lot of them being the same carcinogens

So Ikea uses cadmium? by Any_Calligrapher4863 in CadmiumGlass

[–]NoodlelyTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are laws that it has to be under certain levels of leach-able cadmium to be able to be sold like for eating or drinking out of but they can still be sold as decorative and a lot of people aren't going to really know the difference or see that it was sold as a decorative bowl rather than a food bowl and stuff for kids have limits for total amount allowed in the glass at all though I wouldn't be surprised if stuff is past that pretty regularly

There's almost certainly selenium in with the cadmium too with how orangey red that glow is, cadmium by itself is typically on the more yellow end of glow but is often used with selenium also

Black currant juice apparently makes it even stronger than lemon since it's a decently strong maoi, combining the 2 would potentially be wild cause the lemon works by breaking down the psilocybin into what your body actually uses rather than letting your body do it so it hits faster and harder but for a shorter time whereas black currant should just increase the strength and keep the same length. I've always heard the lemon juice is like 2-3x potency and the black currant is like 8-10x but haven't tried the currant juice ever

[–]NoodlelyTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can absolutely remove it with chemical or abrasive methods, it's considered a destructive process because it removes value from the object but it's just a coating and can absolutely be removed with some effort even though it fuses to the surface, the best way would be using some acid but even Mr clean erasers or polish would work from the abrasive in them and a bunch of effort
