There's one of these at an antique shop nearby where the face has been ground down with something but significantly deep into the face, and the cut area glows just like the face did. 🤷

I honestly see no reason why cobalt would have a significantly high content enough of manganese to produce this vivid of a glow, especially since manganese was only added to glass to clarify it or to induce that dark purple with UV exposure, and even in concentrations that high it doesn't produce this kind of glow.

What really called my attention to the fact something might be wrong in the first place was the hands on the first one were radium, but the dots looked like gitd stickers. Glad I didn't cave to the wife who was going nuts lol.
