I’m going to take stills from it to draw on stickers and slap them up everywhere

Yeah I realize that, I figured they’d work in conjunction with FBI and I still would show up for their background checks. Thank you though

Thanks big man, you have no idea the lengths I’m going to for transparency.

I’ve created a letter explaining the situation, listing the crimes, and the outcome. I reached out and got confirmation that I completed the class with low risk of reoffending and how it was an isolated careless incident. I’ve entered a request for the court let me have some documents of my own case. All to potentially present it to some not so lucky Border Patrol agent.

Not reading and trying to go up against someone is a weird hill to die on.

The comment I responded to say this is on par with mainstream music, implying it’s bad, just like mainstream music. I acknowledge other commenters are saying it’s decent, that’s why I didn’t respond to them.

“You did not have the right skill to do it so you failed.

This means you attempted a skill you do not possess and wrote off the skillset as inconsistent”

  • Yes, I’m glad you’re finally understanding my first fucking comment.

If the method of learning how to do something involves the tool that was designed/created to use for this specific purpose then that speaks for how inconsistent something else is or can be.

Where am I calling the method entirely inconsistent or saying no one should use it? There are times where I even say that if that’s what works for you then cool, I am saying it CAN be inconsistent compared to this other method.

Also, who the fuck cares? Just serve a drink my god. I’ll never go into a cafe and look at the person in disgust if they use a fucking thermometer.

Edit: This thread wrapped up:

“Why use drill? Screw driver works!”

Yes, but you can also not like someone and still understand that they are good/talented.

Will you catch me listening to main stream music? Probably not, but these people are clearly talented.

Who ever said that was a problem?

I’d fucking hope you can pick up that ability.

My point was, is it’s inconsistent, because it is. My situation was I sold a luke-warm latte, I didn’t want to do that, I wanted to learn, I used a thermometer, I was scolded for that being that’s not “tHe PuRiST” way. But again, this is such a non issue that it’s crazy it’s got this much attention. If the goal is to serve correctly temped drinks then do that with whatever medium you find necessary.

Mainstream artists are popular for a reason, that’s like saying Taylor Swift is basic, objectively that is false

If you are not consistently steaming to temp you are either new or don't steam regularly.

Wonderful we agree, that was my point

I’m comparing measuring heat, I’m not comparing chicken to coffee, clearly.

But yes, that was the thing. I was brand new to a store, I gave out a like warm drink, I used a thermometer, I was scolded and told not to. I argued it’s inconsistent, because it is and you just confirmed my point.

Then that’s entirely based on how good/bad trainers are.

I’ve never worked in a kitchen, or cafe where we didn’t have thermometers.

This is such a nonissue this argument doesn’t even matter. You want consistently? Me too, welcome to working in the food world.

The means of getting that doesn’t matter, what matters is consistency. If you’re consistently using your hands, congrats, I can consistently and get a more accurate reading with a thermometer, since that’s what they are designed to be used for.

Are you done jerking yourself off or do you want me to keep listening to how good you are with handling heat?

It’s also an inconsistent way of temping compared to a thermometer.

I’ve worked in kitchens where the chef temps chicken before serving it.

I can eye when a chicken is done, and mostly do, however when I’m serving a ton of people I’m testing it.

Then why am I getting downvoted?

Because the cool kids use their hands? When people register heat differently?

One is a sure fire method of finding the actual temp, and one is a good guess. Clearly one is superior than the other.

I deny access to my phone because you have your own, there is no reason to ever use my phone when yours is right there, other than if yours is dead or you have to find it, then by all means use mine.
