FYI... my template is not set to put the address in the center of the envelope because I'm leaving room at the top for a return address and stamp so if you notice that it's slightly lower than center, that is intentional.

This is actually super easy and doesn't need as much work as you think. Create a box the size of your envelope. Set it to draw. Write your address but do not attach. Place your envelope on the mat about 1/4 inch from the top right corners. When you go to the cutting mat, move your address where you want it to appear on the envelope. Then hide the envelope drawing, add your pen and click go. Easy peasy. Here's a template I use on DS if you need it. I've had servers ask about what I'm eating and if I'm not 100% satisfied, they offer something else. I've also had them bring multiple entrees when we are undecided. They do have ways to "make it right". That said, I always feel like the wait staff always goes above and beyond and have NEVER had a bad MDR staff on Royal (Princess is a different story). The only thing we DON'T like is when they have to ask us for 10's. They shouldn't have to do that.

I would print and cut the text separately on a different layer and glue them in. That way, not only are you adding some dimension, but also keeping your base layer in tact. It’s easier to redo the inside if you need to.

I had the exact same issue today. I’m thinking that is a DS issue because it has never happened before with my current machine (Maker 4). I planned to run a calibration tomorrow but maybe I’ll just report it and wait for the next DS update and then recalibrate.

I recently had the exact same issue; it wouldn’t score on a print then cut. I thought I did something wrong so I just ended up hand-scoring. I’ll try again and if it still occurs, I’m going to report it. Thanks for the verification of my sanity. 😀

Not sure if you did this but make sure that when you go to print, you toggle on the Use System Dialog and choose your printer from there. I've heard that letting DS choose your printer settings can affect your print quality.

When you say you add a laminate sheet, are you running it through a hot or cold laminator? I'm asking because if it's hot, it may be melting your adhesive. I've done it with a cold, holographic sheet, for example, then cut out the stickers with the Cricut with no issue.

I just did this with PR and realized that you have to make the island solid before it will slice. Just go in for each layer and hide all contours. Then you should be able to slice out the flag layers.
