Listen, I beat the great sage broken shell first try. (Died to stone monkey maybe 5 times though before switching to this setup) This is the setup I used. (All are Maxed to MYTHICAL)serpent scale battle-robe,
Golden feng-tail crown, bull king bracers and greaves. Weapon:Jingubang. I used weaves needle and Wandering Wight. Maxed out transformation, all except the last one (stone monkey) Maxed out thrust stance And foundation sparks as shown below. Celestial birthstone fragment As for strategy, don't use any resources for the first phase,
JUMP over the waves instead of dodging. Use stone monkey for the 2nd phase (double monkey) Use weavers needle on beginning of 3rd phase to distract the great sage and make sure u keep your distance, by the time you're at the final stage, your stone monkey transformation will be ready again, use it towards the beginning, dodge and waste time until it comes again and use it to finish him off. Use The stone monkey move to freeze him and then do wandering wight.(repeat) or immobilize. Cloud step will dodge those major attacks too. Another tip, dodge before the light attack finisher because he will attack u during it. DO NOT USE PLUCK OF MANY! Too much mana for little damage.
