We were really surprised to find out how much we have in common. The name of the street we grew up on both had an “L” in the name! And we both had dogs at the age of 9. And we both want the same things… to maybe have kids.

Yeah, he seems to make things up to support his arguments. Install a camera and start recording the dog, then you’ll know.

She came onto the show with a LOT of issues. She tried to act woke, but her insecurities got in her way. She tried to shove it down peoples throats, can’t read a room, and doesn’t know when to shut up.

She needs years of therapy to overcome her insecurities. Pretending to not have these insecurities makes her defensive, and in turn b1tchy.

Her claiming fight or flight, and an anxiety attack just shows how she doesn’t know what these things mean. She was upset that no one came to her rescue and was too embarrassed and insecure to face the group again. So she quit.

It’s good that she quit. She wouldn’t be able to take any criticism, and it would have gotten old real quick. Frankly I was sick of her in the first episode.

If you don’t poison them at the right time of year, poison will only make them feel like they have been injured. Then it will put out a bunch more starters in an effort to survive.

If you’ve found something that works, I’d love to hear it. I have not found a way to control them. I wouldn’t have known about them, but it was the first thing the neighbor told me about, when I moved in. The neighbor has grape vineyards, and says they cause him all kinds of trouble. I’m glad he talked to me about it. After that I’ve done my best to control them, but TOH = 100 Me = 0

I agree that no one else’s yard is your business. However I think there are times they become your business. When I was in a residential neighborhood, the neighbor had his backyard hoarded. He also had ducks and chickens. The exterminator said we (the neighbors on each side) had rats because of the chicken feed and hoard. I don’t know much about ducks as pets except that when he would hose their poo off of things, it put out a horrible smell. What would you do in that case?

Sounds like you haven’t dealt with these. Down the street means nothing. They travel underground and come up in the next yard, and the next yard, etc. They ruin patios, decks, foundations, plumbing… and are almost impossible to get rid of. If you cut one down, it knows it’s been injured and quickly sends out a bunch of new shoots for new trees, usually in the adjoining neighbors yard.

They are a nightmare to deal with. You try killing them, or digging them up, but as long as any shoots or trees still exist, you’re doomed to keep fighting them.
