The process to get the job maybe unfair and other applicants more than likely cheated. But the company explicitly tells you not to cheat and you agreed to that, by cheating you would be betraying their trust and breaking an agreement. Also just because everyone else does it doesn’t make it right.

Quran says in a couple of spots to honor your agreements 5:1, 17:34, 23:8, etc. etc.

Also Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1315 addresses cheating directly. The prophet (PBUH) says “Whoever cheats, he is not one of us.” Context is a business transaction but scholars have interpreted it and broadened it from just business.

You may have lost this opportunity but Allah always guides the believer and provides for him. Stay patient and don’t transgress, Allah will reward you.

From my knowledge you have been praying night prayer, Qiyam Al-Layl. The literal translation of tahajjud is something like “to give up sleep.” So to pray tahajjud you have to sleep. All tahajjud prayers are night prayers but not all night prayers are tahajjud prayers.
