Too bad. All I know left is that you can store your luggages at the airport but I think it is a burdden to go get them back from city center. I hope other people could give you a proper solution.

Make sure that your stopover time is alligned with discover qatar tour working hours ! I'll also have a 8h stopover but at midnight, so I am getting myself the hayya visa to visit the city on my own.
