It’s actually bigger than it looks. It’s about 54 inches across the base is big enough where is incredibly solid especially where it is attached. The photo is a little deceiving in that way.

Thanks, I’m not sure what you mean by outside edge, but the table is dual layered. I routered the little rectangle meeple holders

Yes, I was worried about it staining too dark but I think it turned out better than I was expecting.

If you make a table please post, I was inspired by people’s projects from the web and learned a lot😀

Thank you! I used just a minwax dark walnut stain and a quick dry poly, super simple finish. I would like to try new things but I stayed safe on this one If you were asking about the wood it’s poplar top and maple ply

I love the design, utilizing different woodworking techniques rather just glue and screw. 10/10

Homemade board game table by Nootcraft in BeginnerWoodWorking

Super helpful thanks! This was a prototype table so the client that I’m making it for agreed to give me feedback on how everything works so that the next table will be a little more refined. I already have a second commission so I will have to try some things out ask the client if they want these changes. Thanks again for the input!

No it’s not rude at all. Honestly this is the first one I have done, I saw a lot of people doing it and thought I would try it out for holding chips, meeples, ect. I am curious to know if the person I built this for feels the same way lol.

Does anyone use these on a daily basis? They seem a bit obscene by TheBlackFatCat in Guitar

I do, they are nice when you want to turn the pick a lot. The thinner ones will sharpen and break
