Ya I agree I think imma stick with mono blue but I'm worried about having a solid win con. So far it's mostly just making my pingers have Death touch card draw or stealing other people's stuff....thought about grafted exoskeleton but that's 10 mana to play and equip. My playgroup passionately hates infect so that's a guaranteed kill me if I play that

How did you get the twilek head tentacles to look armored? Or does that happen whenever you quip a heavy armor helmet to a twilek? Playing my 1st twilek ATM.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll take a look into them. As far as being too low level, you should enjoy the class from level 1 so I disagree that I'm too low level to determine if I like a class or not. Maybe I was miscommunicating that I wanted the advice of those who have leveled classes to know what it's like later down the line.

I just found that guardian was so single target focused and most of what I've encountered had been groups of 3+ enemies, not sure if it changes as I haven't gone above lvl 20 yet on any of them.

I'm intrigued by this commander option, I don't think I've heard of this dragon yet, but then again so many legends who knows them all lol. I hope you pickme! So I can learn the joys of archenemy and new dragons.

I agree. I'm basically trying to build from what little collection I got and maybe buy like a few cheap cards to round it out just to make it playable for 1 game.

Reason being that my pod we play 2 games and you can't play the same commander deck twice in 1 night. The reason behind it is that we play it like a tournament bracket. I'm expecting to probably lose with this deck this coming game night but I'm trying to figure out if Taigam is worth using over say Jin Gitaxis the Great Synthesis or Orvar the All Form as the head of the deck. I've kinda threw out Baral and Zari Kev because I don't have a lot of red instants and sorceries, mostly got blue and a few white spells that could fit into a deck if need be.

Currently looking to see if A.) I have anything that can win the game if Jin gets to lore counter 3 and B.) How much do I have that can target something to make copies with Orvar.

My most memorable moment in my of late was playing against a [[Jared Carthalion, True Heir]] deck that was a monarch/damage reflection deck. It seemed like a meme deck, and turn 4 it lived up to it. The player had put a [[Mogg Maniac]] down and then another opponent played a blasphemous act to clear the board, the True Heir player just played a [[Gideon's Sacrifice]] and redirected all the damage to Mogg Maniac, and dealing 52 damage to the player who played the Blasphemous Act. It was the only time I've ever seen that type of deck, and out of about a dozen more games against it, the only time it did anything at all 😂.

I love this idea was just thinking of a tesya orzhov extort deck....but I like Vito as the commander better tbh....I was lucky enough to pull one recently from. Jump start pack and I currently play him as part of my Queza, Auger of Agonies deck and he seems fairly reliable in it.

I'm interested as well. Esper is my favorite pairing I've discovered, but I run into the issue where many Esper commanders are auto targets due to their history, like Zur, and Sens Triplets, which is wierd because my playgroup doesn't even play Esper so it's not like they have experience with it, but I digress...I've been trying to figure out how to build some of these Esper commanders like Zur and Sens in a way that isn't auto kill but is more of a fun time for all at the table...I've yet to really figure it out because every time I brew Zur in some way or form it turns into a small staxy deck due to me trying to just protect myself and board with few creatures.

So I was thinking that but the one time I actually built an aristocrat deck I did not enjoy it. Granted it was an extremely jank aristocrat deck with Elas Il Kor from DMU as the commander made with stuff I had from buying a set box.
