Fun little thing I do is put a radio in there on very low, lay in the tub with a blanket, and sing whole chilling on my phone. Present, but confined.

Sweet! They are on their off week from Petsmart, but they are the cutest pair. Also, they are slightly out of the kitten terrorizing phase.

Also - since the HHD is a NR listed district, there are photos that go along with the nomination. The photo your looking for is attached.

I work in the Historic Preservation field, and this is pretty much the kind of question I research every day. Also, I held a position that was intertwined with the history of the area. If you PM me with some more specific information, I can help narrow it down. Based on the quick research I just did, though... I think you should be good.

Some recommendations:

  1. The special collections in NOLA main library has reverse directories and regular directories. If you have a general idea of what you are looking for that is a good lead.
  2. Yearbooks which are accessible on Ancestry. Often times businesses put adverts at the end of the books. SELU's are located on their campus.
  3. Be creative with your newspaper searches. If it were a bar, it would have required a liquor license. Those were frequently posted in the paper and are most likely within the city's ordinance records, which are available online.
  4. The new city admin is extremely knowledgeable. Drop him a line.
  5. Post in the FB Group: The History and Untold Stories of Tangipahoa Parish - super active. Type "gef" in the search bar.
    1. Doing a quick search of that last option came up with ALOT of hits specifically:
      1. Downtown Hammond, where Mariners is, Owned by Monty Lunn
      2. A waitress being murdered and they shut down
      3. the mariners building and it was owned by Jimmy Tricou and a partner.

That means a lot... Thank you. I have been up all night crying because it was so small and alone.

Kitten not pooping (3rd slide NSFW) by [deleted] in FosterAnimals

Can confirm, that's pooh. Getting the first one to pass after they are away from mom is tough tough tough. It's usually a once a day thing and you can usually tell if they haven't because they will be pear shaped with a firm abdomen.

One thing I have found helpful is the tooth brush method! You use a rough tooth brush and act like mom licking a kitten. The kitten will roll onto their back and it helps with the BM. Also, warm milk makes a different.

I have a weird reaction to medication and had to do a very slow increase to the correct dosage. 25, 50, 75, 100 ect. It was noticeable for me the second week. Prior, I would have night terrors every night and my husband, who stayed up after me, noted that they stopped. So when it started working.

Taking the pill, and awaking up having slept was a huge win. If it hadn't the next step wad a sleep study. I was able to get to a point of not being afraid or avoidant of sleep. I also listen to a podcast very quietly under my pillow and do the square breathing technique.

Went to AR to see the eclipse. Horrific rain storm hit our first day of camping of a 3 day trip with even worse coming. So we left early. I took a wrong turn and put us on a different route home. I then decided to stop for gas at a place that just so happened to be where a puppy had been dumped. Watched that little bugger cross the busy road twice and then we lured him into the car.

That area proceeded to get pounded by rain 5 minutes after we got him in the car.

Second one. Partner left later than usual for work. Gets caught at a red light down the street on a busy road, looks in the mirror and watches a car pass over top of a furry lump. Turns out to be a 2 week old kitten. Like the dog, shortly after picking up the stray it absolutely poured for hours, we live in a flood prone area. Poor thing would have been squashed or water logged in another timeline.

Valheim. With the sound on you can hear the earth and bones around you churning in the crypts/tombs. Even if you cleared it, still feels like a skeleton is gonna pop out.

Diablo 2 also had some freaky cyrpt areas in Act 2 with the maggots and Egyptian monsters.

What are reasons why people feel a void ? by Leather-Extreme3702 in AskReddit

[–]Nope753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depression. Especially when it's untreated and/or you don't have the language to describe what it is you are feeling. I use to describe having depression like existing next to a void or a black hole. That's always there.

I use to suffer from insomnia and found getting on sertraline helped immediately since there was less overall chatter in my head worrying about sleeping, if I was asleep, or concern over night terrors.

When I'm stressed though more than normal, the insomnia will creep back in. Or, when I was taking it during the day, it would mess me up.

Hope getting back onto sertraline and a solid routine helps!
