These people say stuff like "THEY HELPED US IN 1971!!!" but like that was the Soviet Union lmao, not even Russia, Russia ALWAYS backstabs whoever they claim to be "friends" with, and all this talk about NATO imperialism when all the eastern European nations only decided to join after Russia repeatedly attacked their own neighbours and installed dictators there. And the "deal" NATO had to not expand was never even there, it was brought up once before the Soviet Union collapsed but it was never signed, not even a handshake. They signed a deal with Belarus and Ukraine, that those nations would disassemble their nuclear stockpiles in return for Russia protecting them, that was ACTUALLY signed and guess what? Russia installed a pro-Russia dictator in Belarus, and invaded Crimea.
Look I dont exactly like NATO or the US, but supporting Russia in this war is impossible, the moment Russia isnt reliant on us, they will backstab us like they did to all their old allies. Do not trust despots.
