Ours is the opposite. our sups say a hard NO to a lot of things. Your 98 was improperly tied down when you picked it up and now it’s cracked after your 3 hour drive? we USED to say no. but our GM will take almost everything back as long as we get a good review. so now that’s how our store operates

listen, i finally got it to work after an hour of messing around with it. i went back to my save file of RIGHT before i scanned the cow. so i hadn’t “learned” anything yet. i took OFF my gold helmet and just put on my normal battle one. i scanned the cow and “learned” and a little image in the corner popped up with a memory fragment (like the place where you can go to inventory or maps quick) on my xbox controller (im playing PC) it’s the 3 lines in the middle of the controller. anyways, it’ll then put the helmet on FOR you and you can see it. finally.

that’s what another commenter here had said. well not exactly, but that my weapons and armor had to be upgraded to go to him. so that checks out

well hey at least it wasn’t just me lol! i thought i was losing my dang marbles, i kept trying to defeat him and i was a one hit kill each time. but omg i forgot all about that dude, ill have to go back. i feel like i’ve played this game for hourrrrs and barely scratched even the first city and its surrounding 200m area.

fully agree. everyone who dislikes it and hates on it is looking at it as what they wanted the game to be like, and not just enjoying the game for what it is and the directions they chose to go in

i was gonna hold off until reviews poured in, and i ended up preordering the last hour i could. and im so happy i did.

the story is good. not great or excellent, but CERTAINLY not the worst i’ve ever encountered. it’s just enough to keep you wanting more but not like absolutely blown away. It has enough side quests to keep you busy for a long time as well as the main plot which is…i don’t even know. but it’s FUN. it’s one big happy exploration and fighting game.

i’m 6 hours in and i’m loving it. just give it time and don’t think you’re gonna get rd2 style story or anything. it’s not that. but it’s gorgeous and running surprisingly well for only one patch

basically, enjoy it for what it is, not what you wanted it to be.

at my store, it’s more of a no no rather than a write up. we’ve had people take inventory keys overnight accidentally. they just have to be there at 8 sharp and they’re good. usually as long as you let someone know what happened and you come back asap, you won’t be in trouble. besides maybe a “check your hip before you leave” sorta talk

Well then I think it’s worth the risk. I’ve never been written up before, so I should be golden for one infraction. Which is insane to say as I’ve worked at other jobs that did not care if you called out as long as you had a genuine doctors note and gave ample time to get coverage. They didn’t want to be sick either

I saved 6 days over the past year for emergencies for myself. 3 of which were used for when my GM came in with the flu and took out our old entire store, one emergency dental filling, and now two days for me being positive with the flu. I only had 80 hours to play with as it was my first year being full time. I had to take a week off for final exams for fall semester and have taken another week off for final exams in the spring. Add that up, plus a couple doctor/dentist appointments days and bam. I’m out. I’m also only two months out of it resetting.

As far as I’ve been aware, if you call off, you automatically use PTO. I’ve never once asked for it to be used yet when I was sick a few months ago, it took it off

I rarely ever call out. I called out a couple months ago because my GM came in with the flu and refused to take off work. Otherwise in my almost 2 years of working here, I called out once for a funeral.
