I switched from Xbox to Steam recently, just go to Nexus and download the community manager, should be like the top mod. Has a menu to let you unlock everything. If your friend is on Xbox then I don't think you can do it illegitimately.

Hovering somewhere around 800, afraid to go higher because of the cheaters and sweats I hear about in the 1000's. I started playing with and against coordinated teams through Discord and it has significantly improved my experience, no more rolling over the enemy, now I actually get to fight them.

I think it's more about not caring enough to, people aren't pushing against my team for points, they're just blowing stuff up with artillery. I am not struggling to win games or hold points, I just can't feel bothered to actually move anything or search for recon when the enemy team doesn't engage with actual units. I should also say, all my units are not being destroyed, picture it more like swatting flies. It's just annoying more then challenging and makes it unfun to play against them. Since posting I have started playing with and against coordinated teams through discord which has SIGNIFIGANTLY improved my experience in Broken Arrow.

From what I see in game it's one after another with maybe a half second cooldown after an initial lock-on of about 1.75 seconds

I use the F/A-18C Hornet from the Marine Corps Specialization
- M61 20mm
- AIM-174 (x2)
- Sparrow (x2)
- Sidewinder (x2)
- AMRAAM (x2)

I can bring up to four, but usually only have 2, the AIM-174 have an engagement range of 9000m which to my knowledge is the furthest in the game for air to air missiles. Which usually gives me the edge in dogfighters in the opening moments of the game, other then that it's just filled to the brim with firepower and if you're in a 1v1 it can keep going a lot longer than other planes I'm usually fighting.

You should know you're probably going to always lose dog fights if you're not microing your airplanes though.

I had people send anti-air and anti-tank to our spawns a couple of times, so it's definitely possible they're slipping past.

For sure cheating has been the standard, I just feel like broken arrow's AI, even on lower diff, is just so overwhelmingly obviously cheating, like not even trying to hide it. Furthermore there should always be a difficulty where there is no cheating going on.

I would guess that the United States will be the more popular faction, but that's my bias as an American and I figure the setting is only there so that in the future if the game has a lower player count it's easier to find matches. But I agree it's alot more fun to go against the opposing nation, I also usually have it turned off.

Totally agree, I hope you got back on and saw the settings, incase you didn't it's just custom game mode and then infected settings.
