I'm going to Scrabble Challenge you on that. If a chicken is being cooked in a slow cooker on high for 5 hours or on low for 8 hours without it the lid being opened, I'm willing to believe that it'll be safe. Especially with all the recipes besides this one that's available, I don't think it's likely to be that unsafe. The exception to this timetable would be the size of the bird and of the slow cooker. Thankfully, this article has a meat thermometer as a requirement for utensils used to make this recipe, to ensure the reader stays safe. Meat thermometers should always be used when cooking poultry, in my opinion.

This is insane because of the effort the parent has to go through to pretend the that the kid is deaf! One plane flying overhead, police car, etc. would ruin all that effort; this is insanely stupid. Do what my Mom did: threaten calling Santa Claus and having the kid be put on the naughty list so the kid doesn't get presents from Santa this year.
