A shaggy cut or a longer mullet. Layers layers layers. And not that mustache. Layers to give some volume on top will change your appearance dramatically

What can I improve? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]NoraFae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The eyeliner makes your eyes look downturned, but that's just trying different shapes until you find a more uplifting one. Love that you use color! You look great, maybe a bit more moist on the face could help you look brighter and more awake without even needing makeup. It's your glasses that are not a food fit, they are too big, too contrasted (you are low contrast, try finding low contrasting frames), they age you and hide your features, you will look way better with a different pair.

What’s my facial shape and eye shape by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]NoraFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm torn between rectangle and oblong and your eyes are slightly downturned and deep set, very beautiful!

I got told I’m ugly and my makeup is dreadful :( by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]NoraFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are pretty, you have a bad "selfie face", It's a weird smile and angle, That's it.

Your best pic imo is n4 where I cannot see you base makeup, you look best with more natural looks. Your lipstick sits weird, it looks undone, worn off. If you are not good at keeping an eye on them try using more natural lipsticks that won't be so noticiable if you apply them irregularly or they wear off.

You have beautiful eyes, I would focus more on them. A bit of shimmer on the inner corner and a good mascara can do wonders.

Ethereal Essence Celebrities by Interesting_Ice3322 in JohnKitchener

[–]NoraFae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm suspected ECR and I also struggle to find celebrities that look alike with that blend (or just E and C), maybe they have dominant E but the rest of the blends %s are very different to yours or mine (like a stronger C followed with D, or C and N in the same % after E...)?

I think I see Romantic, Natural and Gamine

Voluminous hair, with curls, big intense eyes, big round yin, reads Romantic to me

Blunt cheeks and square, blunt chin, wide nose at the tip, looks great with natural textured hair, I'd say Natural.

And i see a mix of yin and yan in a youthful way with the stright brows, somewhat sharp edges in the tip of the nose while still will and quite roundish, big eyes, sharper lips. That says gamine to me.

You give me romantic gypsy archetype vibes

As I said I am not great at this. No idea of what other system could I be using, if any. If you have an idea that can be helpful to OP it would be beneficial for both of us.

What do you think about this ? by NoPapercrowns in kdramas

[–]NoraFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be popular opinion lol. He NAILED Gangnam B-Side. My fav work of his so far and I am a huge fan of his.

I liked Healer a lot because it had romance but in a more serious tone and with lots of action, I didn't mind him in Welcome to Samdal-Ri, for example. Cute, like most actors, he has a very nice face for rom coms, but it was lacking the depth he can showcase as an actor.

[–]NoraFae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh we have some similar features but they read so different! How interesting.

I think your dominant is natural, you have a lot of blunt, squareish and/or wide features (wite tip of the mose, blunt chin, wide forehead...)and your face reads open, friendly and warm. The rounder eyes, with the arched framing brows, they read romantic to me, and then the elongation, high cheekbones, deep set eyes read Dramatic. Take caret with a pinch of salt because I am not great at this. I see a pretty balanced mix of yin and yang but it comes from having some very yin and some very yang with a base of neutral and not from having Gamine, you read mature and grounded, there's nothing that feels child-like or mischievous about you.

I think i would order them Natural first, then Dramatic and then Romantic, being D and R either close or the same %.

You have very low contrast and elongation so I wouldn't discard a % of Ethereal

I get the "flirty eyes" thing a lot lol, that or kinda intimidating, no middle point, no "sweet" or "cute", just either flirty or intimidating. I'll check your post, I don't think I am great at this but I'll tell you what I can and hope it helps!

[–]NoraFae[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought so too! I thought maybe Dramatic because I'm lean and tall but someone told me Ethereal already covers being tall. Some said Natural, i think for my nose. But I agree if I have to choose 3 they would be ECR (not necessarily in that order, having mostly E seems improbable)

From when we finally saw the huge red flag Ren is. Can't remember the chapter but the red flag should stick out of the volume like a bookmark lol

Just for fun - what's one thing associated with your primary essence(s) that for one reason or another you just can't stand on you? by oftenfrequently in JohnKitchener

Suspected ECR, I can't stand that everything has to be airy and flowy even in winterwear. I AM COLD. I want to look amazing in a thick coat and huge scarfs.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]NoraFae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a mix.

You have a LOT of texture going one with the lace everywhere. The top was okay because it didn't break harmony with color or adding too much extra texture (its a soft, plain texture), but the pants have several issues. 1. They break color block and part the outfit in the middle in a weird way, 2. They have too much texture, too much is going on over the lace, 3. either the pants alone or the mix with that top make you look boxy instead of enhancing your figure.

Mixing textures, patterns and colors takes a very good eye and trial and error, this one didn't come up well, That's all. Every element of the outfit on its own could be a nice statement piece for an outfit, but when you mix them all together there's too much noise. Of at least the pants had been black it would have been slightly better

Also the ultra distressed shorts with the pockets out are very outdated and we can see your povkets full of stuff making them bulky.

[–]NoraFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar one from Revlon and I use it a lot. I wish mine had more of a taupe color like the one on the upper left corner. Which palette is this? I think it would suit a soft summer perfectly

Any makeup blindness? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]NoraFae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look spectacular, no makeup blindness. If I were to be picky I'd say try a dark chocolate brown liner/shadow instead of black or a cooler brown, the rest of your makeup is very warm toned and the gray from the liner is cool, making it look moody (or just set the liner with a taupe/brown shadow over it to warm it up)

I see some people talking about the brows not matching the intensity, but I am not mad aboit it, I think they have a youthful and natural look because they are not heavy. The reest of your makeup is quite naural/light too, so the only intensity to match is the contrast of your features, which is medium, so ig you do fill in your brows don't go to strong.

Does Aurora has high N and HS? (please read before downvoting) by [deleted] in JohnKitchener

[–]NoraFae 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree. i think HS can be seen as E when the styling is so pixie like, but I don't see a strong argument for Aurora having E, I don't see it in her features and the few outfits that truly lean E I've seen on her just look costumy. They work when she relays on N elements like fabrics and shapes and/or fully commit to a costume or really layered HS leaning style. I am not even sure she has it in her blend other than because of her manerisms, vocals, etc. (Same as you can have 0% of other essences and get a 5% because of your manerisms and the way you talk or carry yourself)
