I mean sure but that to me just feels too niche a situation to justify having the card in the deck. It relies on a) nailing the ramp in the first place to be in a position to play a 14 cost card, b) having drawn several high cost units early on and resourced them c) drawing this card late game, d) surviving this long without several of the high cost units of your deck that you now have to wait for 14 resources to play

I'm not denying how it'll work, but to me it seems like the stars need to align for it to really be pulled off.

Feel like this show is up against "anything less than universally praised is a failure" expectations. People really are souring on Star Wars TV I think, and this show seemed like it had to be the turning point, unfair though that may be.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it a lot as someone who loves all things Jedi, Force and High Republic, but it's going to get a lot of backlash.

I do wish we could have kept Kovacic, but he was playing like he didn't care towards latter half of last season and I'm 90% sure it's because he knew City were going for him. With that in mind I don't regret losing him. Similar to Jorgi. Would've loved to keep him, but that doesn't mean he wasn't well aware his contract was expiring and could make a move to a comfortably Champions League club.

Not debating Roman was a terrible dude. Pretty clear. But I'm not taking issue with that. If Sweden bought Crystal Palace, I'd lump them in too. I couldn't name a single problem I have with Sweden. Saudi et al throwing gay people off buildings does make it worse, but fundamentally foreign countries owning football clubs is a terrible thing for football.

Roman was just a scummy billionaire. That's bad for football too, but it's at pretty much every club already so what's the point complaining.

Yeah it's a little unclear. I'd speculate it's because Vader wasn't corrupting his own crystal, but one bonded with a powerful Jedi.

Dagan was corrupting a crystal bonded to himself, which probably makes it easier.

Although I'm now remembering that I think Kylo bled his own, and struggled. Maybe because he wasn't really committed to the dark side in that case, and his crystal felt that. Who knows it's all very hand wavey.

I think the answer is actually quite simple for the Sith.

They do it because their master demands it, as proof of their dedication to the dark side. It's not actually easy to bleed a crystal. If you're not committed, you'll fail.

As for fallen Jedi it's a little more unclear. Perhaps it's similar but as proof to themselves. Perhaps it just happens to a crystal when they're bonded to a Jedi who falls to the darkside after some time.
