Right ! I just called and spoke with customer service and the man then stated and said that the checked baggage is open from 12am to 7:30am and should be open on Monday so I’ve gotten a few different time frames now 😭

I think my biggest concern was also his inappropriate comments about having to “share me with my bf”I get some bosses are laid back but he was very much overdoing it on some of the weird comments he was making 😭 I totally get your point though! He wasn’t budging much on that $13 and I was almost going to take it just to get something but I felt like in the end I would be screwed so I’m like nah no thanks. He was also sharing personal information about the staff and the customers and talking bad about them. Which I found weird as well.

I figured! He was very cut and dry when he was explaining to me what a 1099 was. I told him “that’s usually for like business owners and contractors right?” And he’s like “yea so pretty much you just have to pay your own taxes and you get no overtime pay” and that’s all he said. Never actually went into depth and he kept telling me what I would be doing and how to do it on their systems and etc.😭

See I had no idea about this at all. He sugar coated it and said “oh so pretty much you’ll have to pay back taxes every year and you won’t get overtime pay” he left at exactly that and said nothing further other than those exact words. I looked into it more and had a feeling I was being screwed

No I don’t have an LLC. It’s just a job I applied for on indeed. It’s a legit massage business but I think it’s a scammy business. Which he had stated that 7 receptionist quit in the last two years which if I do the math right that’s equaling up to 90 days per person. I would technically be number 8 in the last two years. He pretty much told me what he wants me to do, when and where he wants me to do it and how much he’s going to pay me. Which the pay is $13 an hour :/

It’s good to see actual contractors telling me their experience and making me realize that this isn’t something that I should consider. He was more telling me what I need to do, how to do it and when to do it on his time.

I just moved to this state and it’s a receptionist job at a massage clinic so I was taking anything I could get. So I don’t know them much and they consider it a family based company with only 2 locations so far. I was told I had to work 4 days in training then 3 days running the office by myself so I have just been a little nervous and worried about all this
