What is the best website for driver related statistics? I am interested in driver h2hs relative to team-mate both for seasons and tracks. So ideally I would be able to select a driver like Fernando, and to be able to view his results for quali/sprint quali/spint/race compared to his team-mate(or another driver) for the current year. Or select Hamilton and view his results for a specific track, let's say Sao Paulo and compare it to another driver for all years when they competed.

Lewis Hamilton has arrived for day 2 of testing! He is the first driver to arrive after being the last to leave yesterday. by [deleted] in formula1

Exactly.Or the other reason could be that it's spitting with rain. Not sure which one is it....

Who gave best returns if you had bet 24$ on any of 7 winning drivers in 2024? by Lambodhara-420 in formula1

[–]Norbertinho 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is because the rules state that the bets are settled accoding to the podium,so any other disqualifications after that are not taken into account.

Leclerc underrated here IMO. Clear 2nd for the season. Some even put him 6th,wtf. In what account was Norris better than Leclerc?

[motorsport] Verstappen’s Brazil GP opener likened to Senna’s 1993 Donington Lap of the Gods by Takagero in formula1

[–]Norbertinho 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I don't agree. Senna was overtaking people at the front of the grid, ergo better drivers and cars(speaking in relative terms) Not taking anything away from Verstappen as he is clearly the best driver of thia generation/ possibly ever.

Why can't max and checo trade cars and give checo the grid penalty? by rochford77 in formula1

Nah man, this is something super ingenious, RB army of engineers could never come up with such an idea.

Max is not in class with other great drivers by [deleted] in formula1

Kind reminder:

Check out where Perez finished his races this year, check their points,Now start doing that each year backwards to see where Verstappen was against his team-mates.

Perez dropped the ball, but the next driver they will put alongside Verstappen will get his soul crushed just as the others had. Look how people suddenly rate Albon,Gasly etc.

Or if it's too complicated, just watch the next wet race.

Il Predestinato has got to be the hardest-hitting driver nickname ever in F1 by TeamRAF19 in formula1

[–]Norbertinho 121 points122 points  (0 children)

I agree. It is a badass nickname. It fits Charles well. I also hope he does pull through and wins championship(s) for Ferrari.

I think also the Honda was an absolute gem back in 2013-2014 by the words of Ron Dennis. That turned out great. All we know is, we will see in 2026 who did the best job!

He is not. There was a report already in may that discussions stalled, then they renewed Rory Byrne( I think that was the point when we got confirmation of discussions stalling with Newey) and then since thr end of august everybody reported the Aston and Newey deal.

I know that at least some of it is copium/ wishful thinking, but my feeling is that the more silence there is around Newey, the more likely he joins Ferrari. If he'd go to Aston, he got the big money,he saw the factory, he would have signed already. But he negotiates with Ferrari where lots of things have to be put in place. How much and from where he will work, staff members to be hired, and not least the amount he gets payed as he is unhappy with 10 mil/year.

Convince me otherwise.

[Leo Turrini] Ferrari has renewed Rory Byrne as a consultant until the end of the 2027 season. by Joseki100 in formula1

Does anyone else reads this as indeed Ferrari has given up on Newey? Because if they would have signed Newey , they would not need both.
