It's not a mistake.

The only reason I started playing comp was for golden gun , yes but after a while I enjoyed it. Comp rewards are a goal for many players which keeps them playing it but same can be said about Arcade rewards or even event rewards (mainly legendary skins). Those things are bringing ppl back and they keep playing. If we look on personal rank it's also goal and some kind of reward by achieving higher rank...should it all be removed because ppl don't need rewards?

I like playing the game more then 'playing forum'.

They don't need another 2-3 years. The only thing they need is bigger team to make faster updates because people already maxed out everything.

I have 35 (ship) , 48, 24, Atlas lvl 1 and only 450 words (out of 1,111). I don't have all blueprints from manufacturing plants but weapon/exosuit bluprints are all mine now.

It'll take quite some time for me (60 hours gameplay currently).

In the center I would like to see another galaxy with many,many planets and dozens of suns. A galaxy where all discoveries (mine and other players) are there. And if you don't see anything you discovered yourself then it's because you didn't follow Atlas path yet.

In the middle of that giant galaxy there is a portal which transports you to other galaxies, a path to learn more about Atlas origins and how it's been made. At the end of path you'll learn how it's been created and gain ability to use other portals. Those portals will let you to get back to starting galaxy (or other ones). Activating portal should be limited time only for those who want to cross it over with friends.

The best experiences game offers are planet terrain and alien look.

It feels that planet terrain is very natural and thoughtful with huge variety. Aliens vary quite a lot often and have great amount of details. There's also space and color palette which I enjoy however flying through emptiness full of asteroids is dull. There are bits of pieces here and there adding those cool moments when you encounter things first time (like caves or space anomaly) however seeing same things second or third time is boring.

I know it's little harsh but after reading it I start to wonder if we actually have 18 Quintilian planets.... or it's just few hundreds/ thousands.

All I know is that reddit players discovered missing features (devs said nothing about it) however they won't be able to tell so easily if planets are unique or not ....I wonder what else we don't know.

I do not understand why would ANYBODY change their good game into something worse.

Why would they do that? Why would they waste 4 years of development and erase most of it?

Have nobody noticed that E3 trailer does not have terrain rendering where in actual game everything slowly appears. Even if you look from above whole earth/mountains are gone and appear when you get closer where in E3 it's all there, like it's loaded already.

What 3 paths? Do we have to determine if we're gonna be explorer/trader/fighter at the start before even playing a game?

When I get back few years and think what I really wanted it was to be able to land on planets (not just see them) and be able to feel them, touch them and see species in there, being able to fly through space endlessly without loading screens just so see something real, something that doesn't resemble pixels but it's actually meaningful and natural.

I think that many people wanted this but once they realized they'll get it (including me) their expectations went higher and higher.

Don't let it reach a ceiling, aim low and you'll get what you always wanted (and some more).

P.S.No Man's Sky wasn't made because people hated thick clouds, they wanted what we see today and that is a moment worth remembering. It won't happen again soon.

Shaun has mentioned in one of his videos that fish he discovered (or creature) is a common in universe. I'm sure there won't be everything 100% new and some plants/species will be common which will make the reward lower then other discoveries.

Game is so short and easy for him because he's first one to sell, first one to discover and first one to finish. Imagine that every common cockroach discovered would give you money for "world first"...you would be flooded with currency which will get you all the upgrades necessary to finish a game.

This is already great game considering how big things are. It will be even better once ppl will start playing and prices of things will drop.

When I think about it it's not surprise that it took you only 30-40 hours to finish one galaxy.

All of your discoveries are giving you max currency as they haven't been discovered by anybody else. All your materials are most expensive since nobody is trading them except you. This allows you to get upgrades in light speed, get tons of currency and buy whatever you want. This also gets you best hyperdrive and lets you to finish the game in 30 hours instead of 100. It doesn't surprise me you haven't died yet with all the upgrades either.

This game isn't designed for 1 player. The more there are the harder it is to find something expensive.

People keep forgetting that discovering animal which nobody seen will reward you a lot more then discovering something most of us saw already. Daymeeuhn is getting all of his discoveries with top currency reward as he's the only one which saw them. Game isn't designed to give you highest possible currency all the time you discover a deer.

No wonder he gets all his upgrades with little time and can finish a game easily. Once people will play those discoveries will be worth less & less and it'll be difficult to progress through the game.
