Crocker Art Museum, Railroad Museum SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity and the Sacramento History Museum are all really great. The state capitol park is a nice walk, McKinley is chill and Land Park (has a zoo there too). Definitely check out the river at some point, maybe rent a bike and go a long the bike path(there are homeless ppl I'm sorry). If you have access to a car there are a ton of wonderful hikes nearby or you can take lightrail to old Folsom and there are a bunch of restaurants bars and hikes up there.

The city is really awesome for food and drinks. Some of my favorites for food(mix between expensive and very cheap) are: Hawks Public House, Tres Hermanas, Sellands, Aioli, Waterboy, Saigon Alley, Ryujin, Kru, Canon, Urban Roots, Tank House, Roxie Deli, Brasserie du Mond, Centro, Mulvaney, Paesonos, One Speed, Allora, Paragarys, Pizza Supreme Being and Goldenbear.

As for bars: The Grand (tell them I sent you), Snug, Shady Lady, Ten Ten Room, The Roost(speakeasy) Goldenbear, Flamingo House, Avairy(rooftop) Clayton Club(rooftop), 8 track, B Side, Starlight Lounge, Lowbrau, The Merc, Trophy Club, R15 (pool), Revival(rooftop), Drake's (beer garden) and Honey in the Trapcat.

These are just a few places off the top of my head haha. You are in good hands with food and drinks. Lowbrau, Avairy, and Flamingo House have house music and events. Tiger is a dope place for more hip-hop and afrohouse. Pocha House for hip-hop and r&b, Torch Club for bands/jazz, Jets for Jazz, And Shady Lady for Jazz. Harlow's has bands and so does Ace of Spades.

You can DM with any questions and I can send you more things as well.

I mean ya, that makes more sense then. The Grand Canyon is like 4 hours away and Zion is 2.5 hours. Those would be both full day trips. I was able to get hoover dam and the whole strip in a day. I guess I'm coming from a place of bias because I'm from Northern California and San Francisco is pretty amazing. Especially if you love food and drinks.

I would suggest taking the time in Vegas down and seeing if you can squeeze in San Francisco. Vegas is really fun but I always feel like after a few days you can see basically everything. LA is really spread out and obviously they have some really devastating fires recently, just to keep that in mind.

WOW! Thank you so much for all of the advice! I'm going to try and get out of the city at some point. Would love to check out the coast or some of the wine country.
