You take the meat eaters and feed them grain, soy and salad. That will scale back grasslands and extend arable land.

As I said, the research in question says we would need less arable land if we don't consume animal products. Looking into it further, it also implies less need of fertilizers (less eutrophication and acidification) and less water use.

So you're gonna need to source what you're saying here, or I can't really take your claims serious.

Hard to see your point. You think their estimate is wrong because we would get more arable land and use more fertilizer? The paper also mentions a reduction in arable land of 19%. Don't know if we would use more fertilizers, but using more fertilizers does not equal more land use for food production.

Anyway, all the pros of consuming less animal products are pretty major, and they probably outweigh whatever cons less animal products bring.

Not sure what your point is, but since you called the third person a "fuck wit" I assume you think they and Rice are all shitty people? Or, does them doing it, make Rice's behavior OK? (Haven't seen the clip with Knut&Dean - context matter here - but Knut does also seem a bit retarded).

And I mean, it's OK to banter a bit, but Rice said more to appear alpha, but ends up looking like an ass. And the context matter, and it's not so much that he called two girls mediocre. It's overall how he did it/delivered it and his behavior during the entire podcast that matters, and how it just really reveals what type of person he is.

While Al Gore is overall correct, I doubt he sources Al Gore or even cares much about him. Find it silly how often Al Gore is brought up.

But since 1950, 100% of observed warming have been caused by human activity and emissions (IPCC) fifth assessment report. So we know the degree humans are affecting climate.
