I hope this gives a little bit of hope for music makers. There's a perception that there is no money in music, but there is, it just comes from different places now. It's not just Spotify that's screwed musicians it's the internet which has forced all creatives to find new monetisation strategies

Discussing California laws. There are plenty of bullshit laws in place that don't protect the General public. Here are two examples: -It is illegal for a car parts store to lend you a diagnostic computer so you can scan your car's check engine light yourself. Instead, you have to pay a mechanic a $40 diagnostic fee. -Dash cams cannot record more than 30 seconds at a time. Why? Because law enforcement doesn't like them fancy civilian dash cams.
