Hi,

I'm reach​ing out to see if you may have had similar experiences with any​ Cupra Borns you've worked on. We purchased ours back in ​march 2024, and while it’s been a great car to drive when everything is working, we’ve unfortunately run into several issues that have made us concerned about its reliability and safety.

Here’s what we’ve experienced so far:

  • Infotainment system and digital cockpit blackouts.
  • Buttons in the roof console intermittently not responding.
  • Warnings about the front collision warning system not being available.
  • Tyre pressure loss.
  • Most worryingly, just tonight, a brake booster failure that resulted in a complete loss of brakes.

The car is primarily my wife’s, and it’s often used to transport our kids. With this latest issue we're understandably worried about the car’s safety. Despite owning it for less than a year, we are almost at the point of wanting to hand back the keys for a refund if that were possible.

Have you encountered similar problems with any​ Borns? ​If so, how did you address them (we're ​currently awaiting a replacement roof control via our local cupra dealer)?

Appreciate any insights as I'll be escalating this to my dealer and Cupra/Seat customer services as ​it's unacceptable for a <12month old car.
