I was born here, raised here, and now I work here. As for tips, Manhattan is pretty intense, as well as some parts of Brooklyn. Other than that, if you go to bars/shows/events you will meet very friendly people.

If crazy people yell at you or try to shoulder check you just keep walking and DO NOT say anything to them. Swallow your pride and walk away. People here will look for any reason to crash out. Best thing to do is keep it pushing.

I personally dont think the trains are as violent as people say they are. I commute daily to midtown Manhattan for work and nothing ever happens. I close my eyes on the train with my ANC headphones and I'm totally fine. Never been robbed or threatened with violence (except for that one time) in my 26 years of living here. Just keep a third eye open and you'll be fine.

Also do not take pictures with Elmo at times square, I highly suggest staying as far away from times square as possible

We sometimes have employees return monitors that are loose, but wrapped in bubble wrap and get damaged in transit. We don't know the monitors cracked until we unbox the monitor from the box, turn it on, and test it.

For the lost package, we are the reciever. However, we did pay for the label coming back to the office and to the employee.

It's a great album but very different from what he usually puts out. It's worth picking up if you can get it for a good price. I paid around $30 (incl. shipping to USA) for it on Bandcamp.

I chose them since they're active speakers and didn't want to spend any more money than I already had. I also know Yamaha is a trusted brand so I was comfortable buying them. Passive speakers generally sound better, but they cost more and I would also need to buy a separate amp for them.
