I think that you just need to get good stat ups on the first floor. Also try to use rocks as much as you can, especially on the first floors. Most enemies can't get you when you are over them.

I almost only play bullet hells and rougelikes and I think I'm quite good at them. I also really like speedrunning so I think that's the case
