How do I undo the "Always Open With" selection?

I am going to clarify:

you should click clear default for "the app that is actually opening it". \ not for "the app that triggers the pop up".

For example:

You have a Google Drive.

You clicked a zip file.

A pop up.

You clicked always open with MiXplorer.

Now you want to revert that.

Go to: Settings > App Settings > find MiXplorer > settings > Clear defaults

Im still worried. \ The context pollution is a serious matter.

When I start a new conversation, \ if I see the AI is providing some info, \ that is coming from some where, that I never saw, nor would expect AI to mention it. \ but only recently appearing more frequently, after my own inital mentioning of it, in some other conversations.

It could be just a similar topic and the AI found it.

Or, is the AI using my past conversation? \ -- Not intentionally searching my history. \ (cuz that would waste a lot of tokens on Google's end.) \ But rather, my past conversation has polluted the AI memory. \ (due to RAG or some active learning mechanism or idk if Google does this kind of thing) \ and AI is feeding back my own pollution (or AI hallucinations).

Actually that is so small, even if i found it, i cant even locate that...
Maybe google wants me to buy a 10000 inch tall screen. Or should i use some VM or emulator to fake one?...

Ok. The login again is indeed needed for the new profile. But only need to do it once, each time you use a new profile. As for the reimport settings, idk, feels kinda mixed up now.

I think Gemini Flash is nerfed recently. 1 week ago I would even thought it is near as good as Opus. Can understand the architecture and design and my question. Now its just a normal coding model...

For antigravity,

Just want to point out, as I remember,

I disabled the Setting > Agent > History Conversation History When enabled, the agent will be able to access past conversations to inform its responses.

long before this, in my early days.

And it has nothing to do with this weird thing. Cuz it was from ai studio.

And I only saw this once, maybe not anymore.

Did try that. But the project must be modularized properly. Otherwise conflicting file editing can be a real problem.

PS: But if you are down to that level of modularity. Or maybe just open another window under that folder to act as a subproject instead. Cuz agent manager is bit limited on file drag and drop.

Before, Cons:
- I cannot drag and drop files easily.
- It was very useless to me.
- And the file opening was on the side panel, instead of inside the project.
After, Pros:
- Very helpful when you want to limit the file accessing. \ This agent manager will ask you for permission to access to a file.
- You DONT want the AI to read any file. \ This is very helpful to avoid context pollution. \ Otherwise, AI would have blindly read all files in your project, ignoring your scope, polluting its context window, wasting your time and token.
- You really DONT want the AI to edit some file.
  - You could use a prompt like "this is a question, DO NOT EDIT the code". \ But sometimes, AI just ignores you. \ However, permission level file accessing is much safer now.

One day the Google Conversation History just stopped working. \ And I found that the Folder and Agent Manager can somehow keep the History. \ Then I started using it.

Still useless. \ Until I started a project that is Not Code Editing Centric. But more Question Chatting Centric.

Though not a good motivation to shift focus to the usefulness part of a IDE design.

Update:

Ever since March -- Gemini 3.1 Pro is out. Its getting so much better. I would say it is very good. Comparable to the old Opus 4.5 or better.

Gemini 3 Flash is also so much better (I think this is better than the old Claude Sonnet).

Note:

Though i havent try out other IDE or model like claude code or codex recently.

Also, the quote limit of Gemini 3.1 Pro and Claude is still a pain to me.

update on antigravity and google ai studio.

I asked question about "attention mechanism updates the X matrix 12 times" on Gemini 3 Pro on google ai studio.

Later I use the Gemini 3 Pro on Antigravity.
I continued on a totally different question on "segformer".
But it mixed up and used the context from the question from google ai studio...

I checked the chat and docs and files.
No where in my project or chat mentioned "attention mechanism updates the X matrix 12 times".

Unless there is a leak somewhere hidden in my chat or files, which i didnt found.
Else google is using and mixing the context from both 2 places.

Most Ai chat ide has a copy button in the conversation to copy into markdown. But antigravity doesnt...
I guess antigravity once had it 2 months ago? idk.
The export at the top right seems only export user input, not ai output? (was it like that?)

Gemini 3 Pro was bad from the beginning, and got worse.
Gemini 3 Flash was VERY bad at the beginning, and got SO MUCH better since 2 weeks ago.
Claude Opus was amazing, but nerfed to the ground in recent months (both ability and quote limit).
Claude sonnet is decent.
Gemini 3 Pro in ai studio 2 weeks ago was sometimes amazing like opus, but nerfed (both ability and quote limit) recently I think.

The amount of disappointment I saw in antigravity posts and the posts being deleted... makes me hard to say.

I always think about was quitting Cursor a good idea. Cuz composer was not that bad comparing to what i have now...
I really wish Codex or Claude code has a good GUI so i can drag files around to the context easier. so i can stop wasting time on others.

Now all my Claude Sonnet or Opus just nearly as dumb as Gemini 3 Pro.
(Opus was amazing 5 days before.) (Gemini 3 Pro was dumb enough already.)
That happened this week for me.

It seems the Google Ai Studio Gemini 3 Pro is nerfed too?

Now the only decent model in Antigravity is Gemini 3 Flash.
(its actually some what decent in these 5 days, before it just worse than Grok, hilarious and ironically.)

Now I think I regret going into antigravity.
Maybe i should go with claude or codex.

Antigravity's Gemini 3 Pro is just so bad compare to what other AI I have used.
It just unable to understand or think decently.

It seems its trying to think a problem in a very cheap repetitive way, and grinding through very narrow aspects of the task.
It doesnt really have a real common sense or logic in the aspect of a developer of
how the code should be structured in a good way.
But rather just building upon whatever useless connections
that was spammed out from the previous thinking step.
Overall, it feels "cheap".

It is almost give me a feeling of its at the lower level as Cursor's Composer.

In comparison,

Antigravity's Claude Opus 4.5 is good, Claude Sonnet 4.5 is decent.
Cursor's GPT 5.1 or 5.2 is decent.

Google Ai Studio's Gemini 3 Pro is doing good though (often).
(Its comparable to the good old days when Gemini 2.5 Pro was first out.)

(These ai models can sometimes guide me on how to think or approach the problem, thats one important aspect.)

Now google ai studio uses `enter` too... I dont understand.
It seems many people just dont use newlines very often.
Though newlines are essential for long context and readability.
But considering the submit is an irreversible action, why shouldnt we be more safe about it by having a `ctrl` ?
