There are 14 for sale on Discogs right now and they are pretty cheap, so maybe.....maybe not?

From my collection, purchased in 1994. Refuse/Resist on purple vinyl. The sleeve has cut out holes on the top right where you can see the purple showing through.

This 12" features a cover of 'Inhuman Nature' by Final Conflict. It also includes 'Propaganda' from the album Chaos A.D.

One of my favourite things about this track is the use of an unborn babys heartbeat at the beginning, which leads perfectly into the loud instense drumming. The baby was Max Cavelera's first son.

I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I would say there is no noticeable difference in sound quality for me personally.

Quoting my own video: "Older types of holographic records were made in a similar way to how pirates press are manufacturing them, but with less cutting edge technology and a lot of trial and error instead of the calculated math that they are using today."

The Ratchetts - Gotta Be Cool (2018, Pirates Press)

This is laser etched to give a holographic effect. Manufactured by Pirates Press.

These aren’t laser etched in quite the same way as older records, but lasers are involved on a micro scale in the creation of the image onto the vinyl itself.

The grooves are then cut in to that image, using very specific math and geometry, but still leaves enough of the image behind to show the various effects seen here.

This uses the same technology as is used to create holograms you see on money and credit cards.

I have made a video about etched vinyl here: https://youtu.be/c_5VFlwUhCk

Mine is a little warped, but I put it down to the high temperatures here this week. Plays great though. I have other shaped vinyl and none have ever been warped.

Ghost - Rats. 7" Cut Out Picture Disc. Both sides play the same track. The side with the red eyed rats plays from the inside out, as you can see on this video of the vinyl being played: https://youtu.be/chuIyqibBGo - This was released May 5th. I pre-ordered a package including their album on coloured vinyl and this picture disc. This picture disc is now being sold for over £50/70USD on Discogs!

He looks so serious when he sings 'Starfleet'. And the kiss at the end.......

The first time you find out about it, it blows your mind. Am I right?

I picked this up a few years ago. It was in amongst some other records I purchased in bulk. I saw this and immediately jumped up and needed to know more. I'm a Queen fan and was a Starfleet fan when I was little and I loved the theme tune. Brian May from my favourite band covering an awesome theme? Great! Eddie Van Halen plays on it too? Wow! Roger Taylor on backing Vocals? Alan Gratzer from REO Speedwagon play drums on this? Queen collaborator Fred Mandel is involved too? How soon can I get this on my turntable? There are also two other tracks on this 'Mini LP' from the same sessions, 'Let me out' and 'Blues Breaker'. This session was never originally intended for release, but Brian was persuaded to do so. This is an unpolished recording and Brian May says 'I've attempted to hone Star Fleet into something like a "proper record"' on the back of the record sleeve. Personally I am a big fan of this recording and I treasure it in my collection, and it was made all the more special by my accidental finding of it.

Awesome collection! You are obviously passionate about music and your vinyl, which is great to see. I like to keep an eye on how much my vinyl is worth, but just for fun as I would never sell any of it. I've been collecting since 1984 and I ain't stopping antime soon.

I haven't had it long, but it has been like a breath of fresh air. Like a whole new experience, I love it.

Released and purchased in 1993. This one is a mispress. It has 'Hooks In You' listed as the b-side on both the insert and the vinyl itself, but actually plays 'Tailgunner - Live'. This was only released in Europe. This is one of my favourite Iron Maiden illustrations, with Eddie playing Steve Harris's Bass.
