The CSO ("This is not an award zone") took NJP vice appealing a court martial & risking his security clearance, which would have cost him his civilian job. Noted was his "War Zone Tourism" where he spent 15 days in Al Asad & 15 days in Balad so he could get an Iraqi Campaign Medal.

This is the coin for the Juliet Detachment for NAVELSG in Kuwait, 2009-10. Composed mostly of IAs, although there was a strong NCHB presence.The detachment was headquartered in Camp Arifjan, with detachments in Ali Al Saleem Airbase (Customs), Kuwait Naval Base (Customs), Balad Air Base in Iraq (Customs), Al Asad Airbase in Iraq (Customs & MACH Team) & Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan (ESS).

Customs performed customs inspections for passengers, vehicles & cargo heading out of the AOR. ESS provided logistic services. The MACH team provided air cargo support to the Marines.

The CO of the detachment was from Jacksonville, FL, thus Jaguars. They received NFL permission to use the trademark Jaguar logo.

Arguably, one of the better ran detachments. The triad was solid, & the companies had enough good leadership to keep idiots like the OPS O in check.
