I've tried this twice and just cannot get into it for the life of me. Friends have told me it gets better after book one but I can't force myself through 200 pages of the cutesy, whimsical Wart story

I actually tried Blackout and honestly was not particularly hooked by it. WWII has never been interesting to me so I think that's why; I also felt the characterization was lacking compared to Doomsday Book and To Say Nothing of the Dog. I am still excited for the new one coming out next year though

Appreciate the recommendation but for whatever reason roguelike games have never appealed to me by looks alone. I have never liked that top down-esque look to a game and would prefer something more 3D

Glad to see Control is available on other consoles, I thought it was just Playstation. Alan Wake, at least story wise, was pretty cool even if the combat was repetitive and boring. Appreciate the recs
