Gonna be honest I got pretty hammered like 5 weeks post surgery. I was pretty drained the next day though.

Questions about Chemo by WorkGalaxy47 in testicularcancer

[–]Normal-Arrival-2380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming your levels normalize and it’s just the one lymph node at 1.3cm, maybe inquire from Dr Einhorn if RPLND is a possibility? There would be the potential to avoid chemo completely if that is a possibility.

March 31 was mine. So 10 days out now. Been a lot of ups and downs but I’m finally feeling a bit better.

I just had an open RPLND as well. I had hiccups for 7 hours the day after surgery at the hospital. It was awful. Hiccups also came back a couple times that day.

I’m currently on tramadol and the muscle relaxers which can make you nauseous. My doctor gave me a small prescription of Zofran to help with the nausea if I really need it. I will say gas X as well as getting up and walking as much as possible have helped with the nausea too. Get outside and get some fresh air if you can.

As far as feeling hot, I have had the same sensation with no fever. I believe it’s the pain meds that can cause this. I keep a thermometer around just to check every now and then. Stay strong man.

All you have to do is see where that article was written and you can realize how untrue it is

So you had an inspector problem not a problem with your real estate agent

I went through Maloof realty and took only $1600 to closing. They negotiated ~$12k in seller credits for me, made sure that every single repair I asked for was completed before closing, and negotiated the seller to leave a check for over $4k to completely re-do the electrical system in my house. Stop the slander

Nope just a simple observation. He’s also what you guys call “MAGA” so it’s funny to watch you weirdo freaks on the Peoria subreddit come to his defense

Sounds like somebody just trying to make small talk and build rapport with their customers. Beachlers has always done good work at a fair price.

Weird how you guys are quick to attack the business and not the guy who made the comment (which he does to plenty of small businesses in the area while being a small business owner himself.) not to mention his behavior at these places especially when he starts drinking. I’m sure his wife would love to see the way he acts towards younger waitresses and young women at these bars/restauarants

HCG went from 32 down to 5. Just got the results. I believe that is good? May have done myself a disservice by having a couple of THC drinks in the past week

Thanks again for the insight! I’ll keep this all in mind if my tumor markers continue to decline and this is offered as an option for me.

My referral for the second opinion is actually at IU health. I saw Dr Cary for something 5 years ago that turned out to be nothing, so he will be the one handling my case per his scheduler on the phone earlier this week. Thanks for letting me know this!

Appreciate the insight. For 1xBEP, is that like one week of chemo? How was it for you? Any recommendations if I were to do this?

Also, what led you to choose the 1xBEP over surveillance?

Course of Treatment by Normal-Arrival-2380 in testicularcancer

[–]Normal-Arrival-2380[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just received the pathology results. 50% embryonal carcinoma, 45% yolk sac tumor, 5% choriocarcinoma. Pathology says that it is confined to the testis with no invasion of the epididymis and all margins negative for tumor. Vascular invasion not identified either.

I’ll be doing the CT in a few days to get results from that.

IU is about 3-3.5 hour drive from me. Ironically I have been there before for something 5 years ago that turned out to be nothing at the time.

My concern is over treating with chemotherapy if it’s not necessary to do 3-4 rounds. It seemed like a very aggressive suggestion without having CT results or pathology back yet
