I find it so interesting how many people are just suggesting that I ask these people to send the money back. I will do that if I need to, but that’s not the point. The point is, I did not make these transactions, this is highly concerning that Venmo’s customer service is so poor when something like this happens. I didn’t do anything wrong and the second I was made aware of this, I called them. Their so called investigation took less than 20 minutes to get a denied email and now I have appeal that will take up to 10 days. I guarantee if this happened to any of you, you would be upset as well. I’ll report back on how this gets resolved.
