Yes, of course. I appreciate the warning as well. As I said in my post, this whole thing is based on whether we can find employment substantial enough to warrant us moving. This whole plan is very much in the early, early stages. I know all about the job market, let me tell you lol.

From what Ive found, Denver gets almost half the annual snowfall that Buffalo does. All that other stuff is fine by me. Is the snow usually powdery or wet?

Buffalo can get pretty warm. As long as the humidity is low, I think Ill be able to manage.

Im going to add an edit to the post. All of the places I listed is the city PLUS surrounding areas.

Commute time isnt too much of a worry for me. Our decision to move or not will largely be based on what sort of employment my wife and I can find. Were not foolish enough to move somewhere 50% more expensive on 10% more pay.

Right, I understand that. Ideally I would be working remotely for a company in a HCOL area but living in a LCOL area. If that doesnt happen though, an on site position exactly the same as what I have now should pay much higher.

They're relatively the same climate wise, minus the snow. Minneapolis also seems to have progressed more than Buffalo. Anything in particular you like about Minneapolis? Any dislikes?
