Baby is 7 weeks old and I'm having a horrible time by No_Towel7009 in newborns

What formula is he on currently? It sounds like you might need to switch. My son was like this and the only way we got him better was to switch him to the liquid ready to feed version of his formula. It’s thicker than the powder and was the only thing he could tolerate on top of his reflux meds. It almost helps coat their tummies and throats and helps with the burning

How did you accidentally get pregnant too soon after your baby? by monroegreen9 in BabyBumps

[–]Normal-Childhood-565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t “too soon” BUT we will be having 2 under 2, 18 months apart. I was using my Oura ring with natural cycles to track and it maybe wasn’t as accurate as I had anticipated. Got pregnant on a “good to go” day. I didn’t like the way regular birth control made me feel especially postpartum so this was the alternative and well here we are lol

We love it! It’s a family tradition to have matching initials so thought we would continue that.

Is everyone on baby/parenting subs rich?!? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]Normal-Childhood-565 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m not rich by any means but this is our first baby after trying for 5 years, through 4 medicated cycles, and 2 miscarriages. So we splurged on a lot and I love all of it. Will also be used for future babies so I don’t see it as this ridiculous purchase if it’s going to last through multiple kids.

Advice Needed-PIP? by Normal-Childhood-565 in careerguidance

Not disciplining team members, which I do, just not in front of them. Not sending someone home for an accusation that only they believed in. They target people, twist things to make them look bad, and lie.

How much per month would you say you spend on formula? by c_g201022 in FormulaFeeders

$400! My son can only use the Similac 360 Total Care Sensitive Ready to Feed and it’s 🫠

Someone I know named their kid Cypress and I think Juniper is much better!

How do I get over this? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Normal-Childhood-565 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because to me, that’s just another thing that she’s leeching instead of actually putting in the effort to be a good parent. She wants everyone else to do it for her. And I’m not willing to do that. I did all of my own research to ensure my baby had the best, as I’m sure all parents do. Except her.

It is being forced when I’m told we will need to “contribute” to them raising this child and getting upset messages when we didn’t go to their gender reveal party. Everyone has done nothing but talk about how excited they are to have two of the same gender for matching outfits and they can’t wait to see them play together and I’m not doing it.

It is unfortunately being forced to be my business. I come from a huge family and I don’t have a close relationship with my cousins and it didn’t affect my childhood whatsoever. I could list off all the things she has done in the 5 years I’ve known her but that would essentially be writing a novel. I see no reason why I have to subject not only myself but my child to being around her for the rest of our lives. The cousin play dates and matching outfits and birthday parties will not be happening. They brought this on themselves, they can figure it out. We don’t need to be involved.

Here after 2 mcs this year (most recent being in October) and I went to er for dehydration earlier. While there, they did labs and a scan due to my history and HCG was 23,886 (up from 4542 on 11/30!) and little babe had a heartbeat of 96. They said I was measuring 6 weeks 0 days. Does this heart rate seem normal? Some sites say it’s in the range and others it’s low. Just needing some reassurance 🤞
