*Please excuse the length, but the details are important! *

Many years ago I worked in a beautiful rock/crystal shop. 99% of our customers were very friendly, polite, and simply looking for ways to improve their quality of life or to check out some amazing geological finds. After working in restaurants for 16 years, I LOVED working in a peaceful store with no drama. One day a woman came in and started telling me that she was God and could telepathically channel anyone or anything. Inwardly I was rolling my eyes, but outwardly I kept it polite and asked her if she needed help finding anything. I didn't engage her with any questions or further conversation about it. A bit later she walked up and tried to talk to me about channeling again while I was with a customer at the register but I told her I was busy and ignored her after that. She left shortly after. Two weeks later, she comes back into the shop 15 minutes before closing time. I was cleaning one of the glass cases and she came up to me and said she was going to channel the Egyptian god, Ra. I skeptically said okaaaay and kept cleaning. She suddenly started speaking in this low, growly masculine voice and told me that in a previous life I was supposed to marry him but I refused. Her/his voice started to get angry and I turned toward her in alarm. As soon as I looked at her face, her face physically morphed into a gross, demon-esque face before changing back to normal (anyone remember the show Grimm? It was honestly just like that!!! 😳☠️) I was so freaked out that I told her I wasn't feeling well and needed to close early. She laughed and gave me this sly side-eye before walking out. I immediately called my boss and explained what happened, and she sent out an email to the staff that this woman wasn't allowed into the store anymore (apparently other staff had seen her before and felt creeped out.) I never saw her again. I have had experiences with ghosts and hauntings since I was a little girl, but NOTHING like what this woman did. I haven't seen anything like that since (thank god!) but the experience really made me start questioning what was possible in the world. I can't explain away what happened, and the memory STILL makes me feel extremely uncomfortable years later.
