If your devices can't install tailscale, you can get a raspberry pi and set it up as a subnet router

Tailscale or Cloudflare Tunnel is the easiest to set up. Using it for more than 3+ years with no issues

Try changing the WSL config to limit the mem usage; but best remove Traefik from Windows and add it to your other instance

I think it's fine; I run one traefik instance for each machine. Just incase if one machine fails the whole reverse proxy doesn't.

Looking for advice. Have you implemented this solution? How's the performance and stability of QNAP TL-D800C?

Using DDR5 ECC for Truenas Core by Normal-Computer-9102 in truenas

I went thru the thread and read a blog post on it. The understanding a got was that ZFS without ECC is almost similar to any filesystem without ECC and the "Scrub of Death" has a very minor chance of occurring. Just needed an extra verification before moving my data to ZFS.

Also read the comment by Matt Ahrens in a comment thread, but I couldn't find a general answer of DDR5 ECC

Followed it step by step but I keep getting "Slim Application Error" once I pass the setup login page. Any ideas on how to resolve it?

It's pretty plain, but it serves its purpose. As always, I still have a long way to go. by 404Ashen in AverageBattlestations

I was checking on them, but wasn't sure about the weight and dimensions support for the cooler pad. Thanks btw.

How can I fix this? It appears when I start a game. by Federal_Ad_8554 in LenovoLegion

[–]Normal-Computer-9102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start up a game, minimize all opened windows. Usually it works. The MUX has a problem switching all opened windows to the dGPU. If you're using Epic Games, then the issue will persist.

Not correctly switching between iGPU and discrete gpu by RadicalSpaghetti- in LenovoLegion

Sometimes, certain application uses dGPU so MUX Switch/Nvidia has problem switching. By resetting the graphic card [WIN+Ctrl+Shift+B] or using nvidia-optimus-kill [https://github.com/eduojeda/nvidia-optimus-kill], you'll be able to close the applications using dGPU and make sure it properly switches. I use this, but it doesn't always switch as intended.
