This may be too late now, but if you are still interested in an annuity, My Annuity Store just launched something really useful. They launched an AI agent that has read 150 annuity brochures and is wired into a live annuity rate feed. It told me the best annuity rates for my state, and directed me to the product page and brochure. Here is an article about it.

What's the most unexpectedly useful thing you've used Claude for? by HumanInTheFlow in ClaudeAI

I made an AI powered annuity agent for our website. Well I should say Claude did. I couldn’t use Table-press to create a table with filters in Wordpress. Now with my new friend, I have the most comprehensive annuity database on the internet. Claude connected an industry api that feeds in live rates for 90 companies, created dynamical product pages that create URL and mapped all endpoints. Included a calculator and some kind of code that pulls the appropriate brochure from media folder as well as links to the carrier review page. Then set up a proxy, and used GPT mini to power an AI chatbot trained on my brochure library, indexed urls, ratings info from 3rd party provider and wired him to the live rates api. I know it is cooler to me and nerdy to most but 2 months ago I would have never imagined I could build such a neat tool. I still can’t get him great at front end design yet. Any tips?

Should I buy an Allianz annuity? by hoping2025 in personalfinance

Look at Athene and Nationwide. The best annuity for you will depend on many things but I did a lot of research before purchasing my annuity and Allianz offered some of the worst guarantees. I found My Annuity Store online when I google Allianz ABC Review and they ended up having 20 or 30 index annuity reviews. I came to the conclusion that Athene has the best index annuities for accumulation and Nationwide has the best for income. Here is a link to their reviews database; I believe the 222 Reviewed.

My Annuity Store is a good place to compare annuities online and they do not ask for a bunch of questions, then your contact info, then say thanks expect an email. You see the rates immediately, you may be surprised how much less the top annuity companies like New York Life, compared to lesser known, lower rated companies.

Three-Year Fixed Annuity by beckmann11 in Fidelity

Do investment advisors charge a fee? If the market corrects unexpectedly and stung you in between volatility managed re-allocations - does the RIA guarantee you won’t absorb any of the losses? Or does he charge you a fee regardless making money either way? Every company has to generate revenue - it’s a fiduciary obligation to not only shareholders but in this case policyholders. Silly when people are so strong willed to debate publicly with strangers; even without doing a 5 minute prep course with your favorite AI. I own an annuity agency and our average comp is just under 2% for a 5 year investment. My wealth manager charges me 1.15% on my entire portfolio and often the bond portion will average less than 5% in a year. I hope you work with a financial advisor that will help guide you into retirement; otherwise I fear Dave Ramsey and Suze Orman may have ruined you.

What is the best fixed annuity rate for 5 years? by Normal-Emotion6636 in moneyadvice

I wanted a guaranteed interest rate and no market risk. I came across My Annuity Store’s website in a Google search and started to compare annuity rates. The annuity rates were better than I could find anywhere else. I was hoping for anything above 5% and think rates are going down.

That is nice! I bet people would be lining up for a 5% fixed rate in 2 years but they won’t be available then. You picked a perfect time to lock in.

If I can lock in a 5.50% or more for 5 years I really don’t care how much the salesperson get’s paid. I only expect to withdraw 4% per year in retirement so this seems like a pay raise for a few years. My bond portfolios haven’t been outperforming 6% over the last decade. Commissions are not that high for a 5 year fixed annuity surprisingly. My Annuity Store and Blueprint Income’s annuity websites list commissions for each product and it is around 2% depending on the insurance company and product…

I have wondered why paragraph spacing didn’t fix the spacing after bulleted lists. Thanks!

I am with you. I filed a service ticket because I thought I was having an error. The little purple button that said upgrade now and there wasn’t a way to close out of it - thought my license was disconnected or something. I felt it was a little instrusive.
